WhatsApp has launched another feature on iOS that permits it to send updates to clients through in-app notifications, as per reports.
WhatsApp has as of now launched the feature on iOS and is probably going to reveal it soon on Android, as per a HT Tech report.
The feature will empower WhatsApp to alarm its clients about different updates through in-app notifications. Clients can decide to divert on these alerts from the Notifications section of the Settings menu.
They can likewise modify how they see these notifications within the application by choosing the Alert Style, wherein clients get three options — None, Banners and Alerts, according to the HT Tech report.
“Alerts require an action before proceeding. Banners appear at the top of the screen and go away automatically,” WhatsApp said.
The in-app banner feature was at first detailed by WABetaInfo. According to WABeta’s ongoing report, the Facebook-owned messaging platform will alarm its clients about its updated Terms of Service through in-app notification. WhatsApp will update its Terms of Service in 2021, according to the report.
