The new contract is a government-wide, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) agreement allowing any federal agency across the country to use UV Care USA’s products.
UV Care is collaborating with ClearwinUS as part of the move, and the team will provide the government with the state-of-the-art Escalator Handrail Sanitizer. No external power is required, allowing customers to sanitize walkways efficiently. The announcement will help to combat the spread of 99.9% of harmful bacteria* in airports, stadiums, office buildings, metro centers, and other facilities. Both parties have established themselves as reliable providers of UV-C sanitation products and will treat walkways and escalators to improve hygiene and safety.
Once installed; an internal generator powers the low-voltage UV-C sanitizing lights. Escalator handrails will pass through the device, and the lights disinfect the top and sides. This creates a safer and more hygienic experience for staff, customers, and the general public.
UV Care USA was organized in 2015 with a view to improving health and safety for homes and businesses across the country. Its solutions are centered on non-intrusive UVGI light, which disinfects surfaces, belongings, and entire rooms. UV-C sanitization works by breaking down the DNA of bacteria or viruses. This eliminates their ability to replicate and spread.
The full product range available through UV Care includes the Pocket Sterilizer, Germ Stick, and Deluxe Germ Terminator. Surface room sanitizers include the Ultra Germ Zapper and Shield 150. The 8-Stage Air Purifier and Portable Air Purifier helps keep the air clean.
